dA custom box skin - Soft Diamonds

Vision: Fits with the title and description and is actually quite lovely. Well done.

Originality: I haven't seen a skin for a page or journal like this exact color for color design for design so this makes it quite original in my eyes anyway.

Technique: Note quite sure to put but shall do my best. Going off colors complimenting each other I would say is a nicely done job. The light pink solid background color with a lighter more white pink over top with the diamond shapes is nicely done to where you can see them but they aren't too pronounced joining with the title of Soft Diamonds. The lines on either side is a nice darker more solid shade of pink defining the sides of the page and giving a nice frame. The purple at the top is nicely toned as it is purple but against the pink has the feeling, to me, in holding some pink with it.

It feels to blend nicely with the pink not being too dominate or bright or dark just the right faded shade to feel correct in its layering. The purple triangles and diamonds I like that is very nice and has an elegant feel in my opinion. The box in the middle is nicely done with the rounded corners it doesn't feel too sharp or blocky. The feeling from the center box does not interrupt the energy of the background, side bars, and top decor. The font is a nice style not too much and may actually be the standard but feels different for some reason than the default font on Deviantart. The signature also very lovely cursive with the cute star at the end.

Impact: I'm not much for the color pink and for my eyes if I were to look too long it does start to hurt my eyes personally if I stare too long but it is a very beautiful background for a journal or whatever it could be applied to web wise. It's very bright and lovely a color choices that to me feel both warm and cool not too much either way. Well done.

Overall: The piece is very lovely though for me personally hurts my eyes if I look too long but that may just be me personally not being a huge fan of pink. Ignoring my personal taste it is a lovely piece and has a nice layering of the white done pink diamonds faded nicely almost like a ghost into the solid almost bright pink background with the more solid darker pink bars to give us a frame with the delicate purple triangles and diamonds along the top elegantly and below the box with the soft white pink background and a text choice that feels fresher for some reason. Very well done. I cannot think of how to improve it because it is lovely as it is.
